A little about the people behind WW Web Design International
Maggie has lived in the upstate NY area most of her life and this is the source of her passion about the Adirondacks, New York, people and beautiful scenery. Educated at ACC and Mohawk Valley Community colleges, Maggie's superb skills in "getting the job done" and her strength in interpersonal relationships enabled her to rise to a managerial position in Industrial Relations at a well known, internatonal paper company. Maggie has since obtained the job of her dreams at the local hospital. She has recently been approached to join the hospital's communications team as their official photographer.
Access to the internet has allowed Maggie to exercise her high artistic talent and thirst for knowledge in new areas. She's held leadership positions in a major international on-line community, and developed her artistic skills using her digital camera, digital drawing and photo-enhancement programs such as PhotoShop and PaintShopPro. Maggie's first website (Maggie's Site) was a template site she put together for displaying her photography and artwork. Upon successfully completing classes on how to create and edit web sites, HTML, VRML and various software programs, she is currently developing a site of her own design to showcase her photography. In addition she's working with Brian on sites for the woodturning art business of some good friends of hers in Wales, AND... one for the Rochester based band "Jumbo shrimp."
Brian has a degree in Computer Science and 25 years' work experience in the computer industry, as a software designer, programmer, analyst, consultant and customer support specialist. He has worked on projects such as modernising the communications network of a major New Zealand nation-wide bank, and programming and supporting accounting and business software for a variety of businesses ranging in size from small companies with just a few staff to multi-national manufacturers and distributors.
In the last five years, Brian has turned his attention to business systems operating over the internet. He developed software used in the motor vehicle insurance industry to automate the management of accident damage assessment and repair, communicating job details between Insurers, assessors and repairers over the internet.
Currently Brian is working mostly on onlinet shops - most recently he has set up and is responsible for maintaining http://www.teddybearlounge.com, which sells prize-winning collector's edition teddy bears throughout the world.
The two, one in New York; one in New Zealand, have teamed up to become a superbly enterprising and creative team. Their sense of humor and talent for listening are two traits that immediately endear them to their custmers. Specializing in attractive, easy to navigate and functional websites, they fill a void that is desperately needed on the internet today. Enjoy their new website and drop them an email if you are interested in any of their services.
